Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, a vice-ministerial-level institution directly managed by the central government. It is listed among the world first-class university construction universities, Project 985 and Project 211, and has been selected into the 2011 Plan, the Peak Plan, the 111 Plan, the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan, national new engineering research and practice projects, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program, the National College Students' Innovative Experiment Program, the state-funded graduate student program for building high-level universities, and is a host institution for Chinese government scholarship students. Our reliability environmental test chambers (high/low temperature damp heat test chambers, low pressure test chambers, thermal shock test chambers, rapid temperature change test chambers, walk-in high/low temperature test rooms, three-combination test chambers, high temperature test chambers, rain test chambers, sand and dust test chambers, xenon arc test chambers, UV test chambers) have contributed to the Key Laboratory of Special Environment Composite Materials Technology, the Key Laboratory of Space Environment Material Behavior and Evaluation Technology, the Key Laboratory of Metal Precision Hot Processing, and the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Systems at HIT.
