The split-type high/low temperature damp heat test chamber has appeared at the Institute of Optics and Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Guangzhou MingSheng Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. helps build high-end environmental test equipment solutions in China. The equipment operates energy-efficiently in the state key laboratory. The institute's main research fields and disciplinary directions include: optoelectronic tracking and measurement, beam control, adaptive optics, optoelectronic observation and recognition of astronomical targets, advanced optical manufacturing, aerospace optoelectronic equipment, micro/nano optics and microelectronic optics, biomedical optics, etc.
The Institute of Optics and Electronics has established 9 innovative laboratories, including the State Key Laboratory of Precision Testing Technology on Optical Instruments, the CAS Key Laboratory of Beam Control, and the CAS Key Laboratory of Adaptive Optics, as well as the CAS Chengdu Geometric Measurement and Optoelectronic Precision Machinery Testing Laboratory. It has also built 5 R&D centers for precision machinery manufacturing, advanced optics development, lightweight mirror blank development, optical engineering overall integration and quality inspection, plus technical support centers such as the Science and Technology Information Center. Currently it undertakes national 863 and 973 programs, National Natural Science Foundation projects, major and key ministry projects and commissioned enterprise development projects, with a research level at domestic leading or internationally advanced standing.
